Furthermore, the Kraków native runs KB Management, a management agency guiding racing drivers into the world of professional motorsport.

Beginings in Karting
World Championship
In 2013-2014, Karol was a factory driver for the Tony Kart team, with which he frequently stood on the podium and claimed several victories. In 2015, he switched teams and, in his first season with Kosmic Racing, won the World Championship.
He continued competing in karting for the next two years. In 2016, he secured the title of Vice World Champion, and in the following season, he combined his participation in karting series with racing in sports cars.
Professional Motorsport
His new adventure began in the Italian Championship as a driver for Antonelli Motorsport, racing a Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo in the Super GT Cup category. In his first season, he climbed the podium multiple times.

Super Trofeo
In 2018, he took another step forward by starting to compete in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe series. This progress was accompanied by the beginning of a partnership with the portal Interia.pl, which became his media partner, and with the sponsor Olimp Labs, which continues to support the athlete to this day.
As a debutant in the Super Trofeo, Basz became the revelation of the season. Together with the Imperiale Racing team, he secured second place in the European Championship. The following year, he achieved his greatest success at the end of the season when, alongside Andrzej Lewandowski, he won the Pro-Am class at the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Final, the most prestigious event of the series.
Riding the wave of success, in 2020, he decided to continue racing alongside Andrzej Lewandowski, a decision that led him to claim the title of Super Trofeo Europe Champion in the Pro-Am class. In 2021, he achieved another World Final victory, this time in the highest class, PRO. His sporting achievements were recognized by Automobili Lamborghini and Lamborghini Squadra Corse, who invited Karol to compete in the Italian GT3 Championship.
Transition To GT3
In 2022, the Italian manufacturer offered Basz the opportunity to compete in the Italian Endurance Championship in the GT3 class and to take part in the legendary Crowdstrike 24h of Spa. At the same time, Karol signed a full-season contract with the Olimp Racing team, racing in the prestigious International GT Open Championship behind the wheel of an Audi R8 GT3. Partnered with Marcin Jedliński, Karol claimed the championship title in the PRO-AM category.
In the following two years (2023 and 2024), the Polish driver duo achieved the titles of vice-champions of the championship.
The 2024 season was particularly eventful for the Kraków-based driver, as Karol expanded his racing program to include three events in the GT World Challenge Europe: the Crowdstrike 24h of Spa, an endurance race at the Nürburgring, and a sprint race in Barcelona, where he secured a third-place podium finish.
